How MapPulse uses the Google Business Profile APIs
This section describes the integration we are building, so Google, our users and their customers can see exactly what MapPulse accesses and why.
Who can use it
- Business owners and managers who already own or manage verified locations on Google Business Profile, and agencies acting with the owner's permission.
- Users sign in with their own Google account through Google OAuth 2.0 (scope
business.manage). MapPulse only sees the accounts and locations that this Google account can already manage. - MapPulse never creates, claims or verifies listings and never manages locations for people who do not have access to them.
Every change is made by the user
- Reading data happens when the user opens or refreshes the app.
- Replies, edits and posts are sent only after the user reviews them and taps a confirmation button. There is no automatic or bulk publishing.
- Suggested reply drafts, when available, are generated on the device and are always editable. They are never posted without the user's approval.
- Users can disconnect at any time from the app or from their Google Account permissions page.

Data handling
MapPulse calls Google's APIs directly from the user's device. Neither Mirage Capital Ventures FZE nor Prescient Ventures SA operates a server that receives, stores or processes Business Profile data, and neither sells, shares or uses it for advertising or to train AI models.

Policy compliance. MapPulse follows the Google Business Profile API policies and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. MapPulse does not create fake or incentivised reviews, does not filter which customers are asked for a review, does not post content on behalf of users without their explicit action, and requests only the access it needs.
